The Scott-Ellis School of Irish Dance recently added a ballet, tap, jazz, and liturgical dance program under the Scott-Ellis School of Dance.  We did this in response to a growing desire in the dance community to move away from the “status quo” and ever increasing risqué dance styles seen today in the performing arts community.  The classes we offer will include ballet, tap, jazz, liturgical and Irish step dancing in a family-friendly dance school who desires to train up dancers who will develop strong technique, style and character on their journey in dance.  Our dancers will not only develop their gifts in dance, but they will learn to use their gifts with grace and humility.  Each student is eligible to be a part of the By His Grace Dance Troupe which is a traveling performing group and uses music with up-beat, positive lyrics that both dancers and their families will enjoy and appreciate.  The By His Grace dance group has numerous opportunities throughout the year to perform at venues in and around middle Tennessee along with the Scott-Ellis Irish dancers.
